Midwest Flowers

I’ll be honest — like most Midwesterners, there’s always that time of year when I dramatically say, “UGH. Why do I still live here? I’m moving down south!”
It usually hits sometime in February, when the temps are below zero and I’ve only seen daylight for about 27 minutes all week.

But then… spring teases us with a little sunshine, a hint of warmth, and the promise of better days. It looks nice — but isn’t quite warm yet — and that’s when we all say the classic line: “If it wasn’t for the wind…”

One of the reasons I do still live here, though, is because I genuinely love experiencing all four seasons. Spring, especially, feels like a fresh start — new beginnings, new blooms, and new memories waiting to be made.

Fresh flowers, vibrant greens, and golden sunlight make spring sessions absolutely magical. Whether your child wants to twirl in a dress, pick petals with curiosity, or just run barefoot through the grass — I’m here for it. 🌷

I know all the best flower-filled spots around, and you can expect a session that blends sweet posed portraits with the candid, carefree joy of childhood.

Let’s make some beautiful springtime memories together. 💐
